They are truly passionate about both childcare as well as St. George’s Nursery, and they continuously strive to build stronger, caring bonds with both your child and you. Every single one of our nursery staff makes each child and their families feel welcome, ensuring that all children are safe, happy and learning. They go above and beyond to foster an environment where our children, their families and our fellow colleagues feel a part of the family.

Safe Recruitment Policy
St. George’s Nursery has an extensive safe recruitment policy and employment is subject to rigorous checks and clearances. Great emphasis is placed on the selection of our staff teams, who are appropriately qualified and are trained on a regular basis to recognise the development needs of your child and to create a challenging and stimulating environment. From the minute they walk through the door until they go home, the team ensure that the environment for your child is a happy and exciting one.
Staff Training
The nursery staff receive detailed induction and ongoing training such as health and safety, paediatric first aid and safeguarding children, to name but a few. Each of our nurseries has a fully trained designated Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) and our team is always available to discuss any concerns you may have regarding behaviour-management.
Long-Serving Nursery Team
At St. George’s Nursery we take pride in the fact that we have such dedicated long-serving staff. Many staff who work for St. George’s Nursery are long-serving members of staff that have been with us over to 25 years!
