As part of our 30th-anniversary celebrations, we hosted a series of exciting events at all our nursery locations. These celebrations were designed to engage our children, current and prospective parents, showcasing the nurturing environment that has made us a trusted name in the community.
The events featured a wide range of activities, from games and creative arts to outdoor activities and food stalls, creating an inclusive atmosphere for everyone involved. St. George’s Nursery, Narborough
At St. George’s Nursery, Narborough, we celebrated both the 30th anniversary of St. George’s and the 10th anniversary of our Narborough branch with a fun-filled summer fête on 18th May. The nursery grounds were transformed into a lively venue with activities for children, including interactive games, creative crafts, and face painting. Delicious treats and refreshments added to the festive mood, creating an atmosphere of joy and celebration. This event truly reflected the nurturing and engaging environment that St. George’s Nursery is known for in Narborough and the surrounding areas. We proudly raised £200 for PANDAS charity.
St. George’s Nursery, Enderby
The summer fête at St. George’s Nursery, Enderby on 8th June marked two significant milestones: 30 years of St. George’s and 20 wonderful years of our Enderby nursery. Families gathered to enjoy a variety of activities, from stalls filled with homemade treats to craft activities that sparked creativity in children. Special appearances from George the Dragon and Olaf added to the excitement. We were thrilled to raise £504.35 for Adapt Leicestershire.
The food and bake stalls were especially popular, featuring an array of homemade treats that truly showcased the baking talents within our nursery community. Several craft activities were available, giving the children a chance to get creative, and face painting was another major highlight, with children eagerly transforming into their favourite characters. Our Enderby nursery continues to be a beacon of quality early years education and care, loved by parents across Leicestershire.
St. George’s Nursery, Meridian
On 22nd June, St. George’s Nursery, Meridian joined in the 30th-anniversary celebrations with a summer fête that featured a mix of engaging activities and informative sessions for parents. The event allowed future parents to explore the heart of St. George’s Nursery and the Meridian Nursery through fun and interactive experiences. Our bake sale and craft activities were a hit, and we proudly raised £148 for the Menphys charity. This celebration highlighted our nursery’s strong sense of community and our commitment to fostering growth and creativity in every child.
St. George’s Nursery, Aylestone
St. George’s Nursery, Aylestone hosted a vibrant summer fête on 6th July 2024, bringing together families and community members to celebrate 30 years of childcare excellence. The nursery grounds were alive with excitement, creating a vibrant atmosphere that everyone enjoyed. Visitors indulged their taste buds at the cake sale, where they found a tempting array of delectable treats generously provided by the local Aston Care Home. Visitors also enjoyed authentic Indian cuisine provided by Mandalia Foods and had the chance to tour our facilities, gaining insight into the exceptional early years education that St. George’s Nursery offers in Aylestone. This event was a beautiful showcase of our commitment to creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for every child.
St. George’s Nursery, Oadby
St. George’s Nursery, Oadby marked our 30th anniversary with a garden party on Friday, 7th June. Parents joined in on the fun, participating in activities like the Superstar Sports session, which encouraged both children and parents to get active. George the Dragon made another delightful appearance, adding to the excitement. The event brought together the nursery community, highlighting the strong bonds that make St. George’s Nursery a trusted choice for families in Oadby and beyond.
St. George’s Nursery, Sherwood
On 6th July, St. George’s Nursery, Sherwood celebrated our 30th anniversary with a summer fête that featured a range of fun activities, from face painting to a creative arts and crafts station. Families also enjoyed exploring our Forest School, where they learned about our outdoor education approach. We even toasted some marshmallows on the campfire! The popular “Guess the Name of the Teddy” and “Guess Which Staff Member” games added a playful element, making the day a joyful and memorable experience for all. The event reinforced the vibrant community spirit that defines St. George’s Nursery in Sherwood and Nottingham.
