Our Team

At St. George’s we take pride in the fact that we have such dedicated long-serving staff. We couldn’t deliver our excellent service without our fantastic team. They are truly passionate about both childcare as well as St. George’s, and they continuously strive to build stronger, caring bonds with both your child and you. They are committed to providing the highest standard of care and education and take great pride in their roles and their settings.

Every single one of our staff makes each child and their families feel welcome, ensuring that all children are safe, happy and learning. They go above and beyond to foster an environment where our children, their families and our fellow colleagues feel a part of the family.

Great emphasis is placed on the selection of our staff teams, who are appropriately qualified and are trained on a regular basis to recognise the development needs of your child and to create a challenging and stimulating environment. From the minute they walk through the door until they go home, the team ensure that the environment for your child is a happy and exciting one.

The nursery staff receive detailed induction and ongoing training such as health and safety, paediatric first aid and safeguarding children, to name but a few. Each of our nurseries has a fully trained designated Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) and our team is always available to discuss any concerns you may have regarding behaviour-management.

St. George’s has an extensive safe recruitment policy and employment is subject to rigorous checks and clearances. Many staff who work for St George’s are long-serving members of staff that have been with us over to 25 years! See more here.
