Our Music & Movement sessions help improve children’s motor skills, helps strengthen their memory skills, and allows them to practice self-expression.
They encourage children to be active and is an excellent way to develop core strength and mobility, as well as balance, coordination and self-esteem. Regular physical activity is an important part of a wholesome lifestyle and promotes a healthy body and healthy mind.
Our children also do weekly Yoga sessions, where they learn new exercises and Yoga positions and they practise meditation and mindfulness. We encourage children to talk about their feelings, and help them to deal with any difficult or negative emotions they may be facing.
Children derive enormous benefits from yoga. Physically, it enhances their flexibility, strength, coordination, and body awareness. In addition, their concentration and sense of calmness and relaxation improves.
We provide sport sessions in partnership with Super Star Sports. Qualified sports coaches carry out fun and engaging activities with the children thus prompting physical development and increasing their confidence within the area of sport. The staff team are put through their paces too!
As well as the physical benefits of these sports sessions, there are also many social, mental, internal and emotional benefits too.
These sessions are an excellent way to help your baby communicate before they are able to talk. The benefits of sign is to create a happy environment to help stimulate language development. These sessions are extremely rewarding and incredibly fun!
