The Covid-19 outbreak and subsequent quarantine of communities has caused many households to lose their livelihood and income. Right now more than ever, families across Leicestershire need our help. This pandemic has turned the lives of many families upside down.

Let’s help to tackle the continuing fall out from Covid. Need in the coming months is again going to be unprecedented as unemployment rockets. Help us to reach out to children, families and vulnerable people by Christmas with life essential supplies.


How can YOU help?

During the month of November, we will be collecting any unwanted items to donate such as warm clothing, unopened food tins and other dried food, hygiene items such as nappies and female sanitary products.


If you would like to help,  please call up your local St. George’s Nursery site to arrange a drop-off. of St. George’s Nursery Schools – Leicester City Centre, Aylestone, Oadby Narborough & Enderby.

Ideas of items to donate:



  • Tinned Fruit
  • Tinned meat meals
  • Small packets of tea
  • Bottles of squash
  • Ring pull tinned tuna
  • Store cupboard items


Toiletries & personal hygiene items:

  • Toothbrushes
  • Female sanitary products
  • Nappies
  • Deodorant, shampoo, shower gel etc.



Clothing can all be pre-loved as long as it not ripped or stained.

  • Warm clothing such as jumpers, coats, scarves, hats, gloves…



  • Blankets and single sized duvets, sheets and covers
